Is smoking allowed at your rehab center?
You are permitted to smoke at our Mississippi inpatient rehab facility, but only in designated smoking areas. What happens if there is an emergency?
You can attend treatment at Oxford knowing that it’s our first and foremost goal to keep everyone on the premises safe. In the case of a natural disaster, we will make sure patients and employees alike are either relocated or released as needed. In certain extreme situations, we’ll stop accepting patients to a facility altogether until after the danger has passed. If you experience a medical emergency, our medical professionals will follow any directives you provided when you were checked into our facility, and will alert your point of contact. Is treatment voluntary and can I leave anytime I want?
Although we recommend staying in treatment for the duration of your specific program, your attendance at our facility is voluntary and you may leave if you so choose.
