Fun-Filled Alumni Events

The weekend of September 15-16, 2023, in Oxford, MS, was thrilling and memorable, filled with exciting events organized by the Oxford Treatment Center. On Friday, September 15, 2023, Wall Doxy State Park was buzzing with energy as the Oxford Treatment Center hosted its highly anticipated Alumni vs. Staff Kickball game. It was a friendly yet competitive match that brought together alums of the center and its dedicated staff. Laughter, camaraderie, and friendly rivalry filled the air as both teams showcased their kickball skills. The game was a chance for alums to reconnect with old friends and staff and to celebrate the journey to recovery.

The excitement didn’t end there. On Saturday, September 16, 2023, the Oxford Treatment Center organized a Sober Tailgating Event at The Grove at Ole Miss. This event was a unique and alcohol-free twist on the traditional tailgate experience. Attendees enjoyed a lively atmosphere with music, delicious food, and engaging activities, all while maintaining their commitment to sobriety. It was a fantastic opportunity for individuals in recovery to socialize, build connections, and celebrate life in a supportive and sober environment.
