Henry “Hank” Holmes, M.Ed., P-LPC, NCC, serves as an Experiential Therapist at Oxford Treatment Center, where he combines more than 22 years of experience with innovative, hands-on approaches to help individuals build confidence, resilience, and lasting recovery.

Hank believes that some of the most meaningful growth happens when people move beyond talking about change and begin experiencing it firsthand. Through experiential therapy, he helps clients step outside their comfort zones in a safe, supportive environment where they can overcome fears and strengthen coping skills.

At Oxford, Hank played a key role in developing and implementing the facility’s challenge and ropes course programming, creating activities that foster trust, communication, problem-solving, and personal growth. He also leads the “Hijacked Brain” psychoeducational series, helping clients understand the neuroscience of addiction and how recovery can heal the brain. By blending clinical expertise with experiential learning, Hank empowers individuals to recognize their potential and build a strong foundation for long-term recovery.

When he’s not working with clients, Hank enjoys spending time with his family, detailing cars, and following professional wrestling, a passion he has had for more than 40 years.
