Telehealth Rehabilitation Services at Oxford Treatment Center
Telemedicine allows doctors, therapists, and many other health professionals to reach you where you are, instead of making you travel for an appointment or treatment. With the current stay-in-place orders many states have facilitated in response to COVID-19, telemedicine has become even more important to patient’s care.
That’s why at Oxford Treatment Center, we’ve prioritized the development and deployment of remote outpatient treatment services for addiction care.
“In the midst of the pandemic, we must not forget our nation is also battling the addiction crisis,” said Mark Sawyer, Oxford Treatment Center CEO. “People are dying every day from the disease of addiction and we must do all we can to provide lifesaving care to those in our community.”
Before, you had to travel to our facility in Oxford, Mississippi to obtain our quality services and treatment for substance abuse. Now, people in the community near Oxford can access many of these over the phone or through the computer.
Treatment Services Available for Telehealth
If you choose Oxford Treatment Center as your hub of recovery, you can expect the following services to help guide you on your journey to sobriety, right from the comfort of your own home:
- One-on-one therapy.
- Group therapy.

- Follow-up care.
“It’s critical that our patients in the early stages of recovery continue to receive care to help them achieve long-term sobriety, especially during this time when stress and anxiety could put them at increased risk for a relapse,” said Outpatient Director Mat Douglas.
“Telehealth makes it possible for us to care for our patients in the safest way possible and remove any travel or other barrier that may prevent them from seeking care in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
